Coaching for Teams and Individuals in the Workplace

 
 


Coaching is a process that allows individuals or teams to realise their full potential. By helping to identify strengths, set targets and action plan, a coach can help people move towards the results they desire to make life more fulfilling and work more productive. The experience can be stimulating and empowering as the coach challenges self defeating thinking, helps identify strengths and encourages more strategic, solution focused thinking within groups and teams.

Coaching is available to both individuals and teams within businesses and organisations .

For individuals, coaching can help people to look holistically at their present level of satisfaction in both their personal and working life.  The coachee is encouraged to look at a number of areas, for example, relationships, career, social activities and general satisfaction in order to decide what they would like to change or achieve to feel more fulfilled. This approach can be used to improve work/life balance with individual employees within an organisation.

Performance coaching can also be used to support managers and employees with specific skills deficits within their areas of work.  By exploring different aspects of their working roles, individuals or teams can be supported to develop strengths in new areas and challenge old rigid processes effectively in order to move towards a belief in solutions and success.  Sometimes following promotion, an individual can benefit from exploring new ways of managing his/her work effectiveness, for example, time management of extending workloads and responsibilities, or presentation and interpersonal skills at a senior level or with a growing team.

For teams, coaching can improve workplace performance, enhance team cohesion and develop strategic planning skills.

Coaching can be face to face, by email, by phone or a combination to suit.
