Mentoring and Supervision

Esk Consulting can provide an external, confidential support platform for managers in the public sector and SMEs. Our consultants have extensive experience of working with small businesses and have personal managerial experience in both health and social care settings in the statutory, private and voluntary sectors.

We support a number of managers who have no real back-up built into their organisational structure either due to the funding arrangements, the size of their projects or the make up of their management committees/Trustees..

For a small monthly fee, managers can meet away from the workplace in the relaxed setting of the Esk Consulting rooms. The meetings, which are on a one to one basis or in small teams, help clients to think through their management role, explore new ideas and reflect on their practice or current issues within their workplace. This support can be combined with coaching if identified areas need to be addressed further to improve performance and job satisfaction.

We also provide supervision opportunities for coaches/therapists/supervisors working with organisations who wish to reflect on their practice as part of their on-going development.

For larger organisations, we have designed and organised mentoring training within departments. This allows identified managers to cascade group mentoring within their department and to offer mentoring and supervision on a one-to-one basis to employees.
